Description

There comes a time where everything is aligned perfectly like an eclipse, the same goes for Egypt in the magical deep southern borders of Aswan when the sun smiles on the face of Abu Simbel twice every year. On the 22nd of February and October, the temple of Abu Simbel enters the twilight zone where you will have the chance to go on a journey into a wondrous reality only controlled by the boundaries of your imagination. In this magical time of celebration, everyone will get the opportunity to explore the miraculous temple of Abu Simbel and enjoy the majestic Sun festival.

Program

Day 1:
Upon arrival in Luxor, you will be met by our representatives who will assist us in your transfer to the Nile cruise.
You will then have the opportunity to visit the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. You will then be able to take an excursion to the Necropolis of Thebes, on the Eastern bank.
Lunch will be provided onboard, and the afternoon will be free, for anyone to do as they wish.

Day 2:
Having eaten breakfast, you will disembark to see the majestic city of Luxor. Here you can visit two of the most spectacular temples in Egypt, the Luxor Temple, and the Karnak Temple (Optional).
Then, upon your return to the boat, you will sail towards Edfu, where you will dock to eat and spend the night.

Day 3:
Once you have eaten breakfast, you can visit the Edfu temple (Optional), dedicated to the ancient Egyptian god Horus. The cruise will then continue towards Kom Ombo, where you can visit its incredible temple (Optional), dedicated to the gods Sobek and Hareoris.
After the day tour, you will head up the Nile to Aswan, where you will spend the night.

Day 4:
Having enjoyed breakfast, you will disembark at Aswan to have an opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful temples in the country by felucca, the Philae Temple (Optional), dedicated to the Goddess Isis, and then back to the Nile cruise.


Day 5:
Enjoying the Sun Festival Event of the Abu Simbel.
You will be taken from the Nile cruise at 3:00AM going to Abu Simbel Temple (Included), then arrived at the temple in the early morning before Sunrise of the 22nd of February. you will have a chance to walk with the gods of Ancient Egypt and witness a magical once-in-a-lifetime event the majestic sun festival where the ancient Egyptian attempted to catch the sun with their pare hands. And then you will return back to Aswan after the festival to check-out from the Nile cruise.
you will take a morning transfer to Aswan airport in order to to take your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will check-in at Steigenberger El-Tahrir or Similar. You will have the opportunity to enjoy your night there in Cairo Down Town.

Day 6:
After breakfast, you will be checked out from the hotel according to your flight time. In any case, the latest check out will be at noon or earlier. Your tour leader will escort and transfer you from the hotel to the airport for your flight home.
